Volunteers and Interns To apply go HERE Ayuda internships tend to follow the scholastic year: fall semester, spring semester, and summer. Interns during the academic school year are required to work 10-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the entire semester (approximately 10-12 weeks). Summer internships with Immigration and Family Law/Domestic Violence programs are only open to law school students, whereas internships during the academic school year are open to all students. Summer interns are required to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the entire summer (approximately 10-12 weeks). Immigration and Domestic Violence/Family Law interns have the opportunity to work directly with Ayuda’s largely Latino client base, so they must be fluent in Spanish. French is also an asset for immigration interns. Throughout the years, nearly a thousand interns have worked at Ayuda. Several have applied for jobs at Ayuda thereafter and joined our talented staff. |
